01 / WHEN A CONNECTION MATTERS
Real life is unpredictable.
A little preparation helps.
When your own phone or words are unavailable, a helper can use a compatible phone to tap your card or scan its QR code and reach your listed contacts.
You cannot explain who to call.
After an accident or a sudden illness, someone helping you can find the family member or trusted person you chose.
A loved one needs a familiar voice.
An older relative who becomes confused or separated from their caregiver can carry a direct way for a helper to reach that caregiver.
You are traveling across languages.
English and Spanish support makes it easier to open the contact page and prepare a message when explaining the situation is difficult.
You are detained and need someone notified.
If you or a helper can access the card and a phone, the listed contacts provide a way to reach someone you trust. Scanning alone does not notify anyone or confirm detention.
In immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. The card supports communication; it does not replace emergency assistance. Tap and scan need a compatible phone and internet access. Calls and messages depend on the phone’s service.
